Quick one, because the clock is literally ticking on this: the 4th of July event in Trend Trivia is live right now, and it only runs through July 6. If you were waiting for a reason to test how much you actually know about Independence Day, this is the week.
What's in the event
The 4th of July event is part of Holiday Trivia, the free mode that lights up for every major holiday with its own limited-time question pool. This one comes loaded with 200 questions built entirely around Independence Day: the Revolution and the founders, the Declaration, fireworks, cookout culture, the flag, the anthem, presidential 4th of July trivia, and the delightfully weird corners of the holiday, like why a hot dog eating contest became a national institution.
The pool is split into 20 games of 10 questions each, so you can knock out a quick round while the burgers are on the grill or settle in and chase the whole thing. Your progress carries across the event, and the lobby shows exactly how many games you have left.
There's a badge on the line
Every Holiday Trivia event comes with its own collectible badge, and the July 4 badge is only earnable while the event is open. Play through the full 200 questions before the window closes on July 6 and it's yours permanently. Miss the window and you're waiting until next year, which is a long time to look at an empty spot in your badge collection.
Fair warning from the Father's Day event last month: the people who put it off to the last day were the ones sweating through their final five games on closing night. The event ends when it ends.
It's free, and that's the point
Holiday Trivia doesn't sit behind the subscription. It's one of the free modes, same as the daily games, so anyone with the app can jump into the full event. If you've got family in town for the holiday, it also makes a pretty good group activity: pass the phone around the table, one question each, loser refills the drinks. We can't officially endorse wagering dessert on it, but we can't stop you either.
